Specialty Courts and the Criminal Justice System

Rural Nevada Counseling understands that there can be negative consequences that arise from active addiction. Some of these consequences can involve mandated treatment through the criminal justice system. Rural Nevada Counseling has various programs which help our clients meet and maintain the various compliance requirements of Nevada’s specialty courts while offering highly specialized approaches specific to your needs.

Rural Nevada Counseling works with all of Nevada’s Specialty Courts. All criminal justice system mandated clients randomly and regularly undergo drug screens and/or breathalyzer analysis through a color-coded system. RNC is certified through the State of Nevada to provide testing onsite. Additionally, we are contracted with a national lab for test confirmations and medication compliance for those who are engaged in mental health treatment. We also offer; Level 1 Outpatient and Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Services. We currently are contracted with the Western Regional Specialty Court program and service all of Lyon and Pershing Counties.
